Lunch Visitors on September 14th

We are excited to begin welcoming parents and other grown-ups for lunch starting September 14th! 💚💛 We know many of you are eager to visit your student during their lunch time, and we can’t wait to have you join us at the Meadow!

The first few weeks of school are an important time for our students to learn and practice cafeteria routines, expectations, and procedures. Giving them this time helps us establish a smooth and successful lunch routine for the rest of the school year.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we get these routines in place. September 14th will be here before we know it, and we look forward to welcoming our Wolf Meadow grown-ups for lunch! 🐺

What's Happening at the Meadow This Week

We have another great week ahead at Wolf Meadow! Here’s what’s happening:

Tuesday, August 25 | PTO Meeting
Our PTO is hosting its first meeting of the school year at 6:00 PM! All parents and families are welcome to attend. Come learn how you can get involved and help support our students and staff!

Wednesday, August 26 | 3rd Grade BOG Reading Test
Our 3rd graders will be taking their BOG Reading Test on Wednesday. Please make sure your 3rd grader is present and on time so students can begin testing promptly. We know our Wolves are going to do their best!

Friday, August 28 | SPIRIT DAY!
Show your Wolf Meadow pride by wearing your favorite Wolf Meadow gear or GREEN & YELLOW!

Spirit Day will be celebrated on the last Friday of every month, so get ready to show that Wolf pride!

The big question: Which grade level is going to show up with the MOST school spirit?!

Curiosity

This week, our school is focusing on the character strength of Curiosity. Curiosity means being interested in learning new things and asking questions to discover more about the world around us.

When we are curious, we want to know more and understand better. Curiosity helps us stay interested in stories, try new activities, and even explore new places. Everyone experiences curiosity in different ways, whether it's through asking questions, thinking deeply, or feeling excited about new ideas.

Being curious also takes courage. It means asking questions when we don’t know the answers and being willing to try new things, even if we might not succeed right away. But it’s through this curiosity and exploration that we learn and grow.

To practice and encourage curiosity at home, please visit The Positivity Project’s mobile-friendly P2 for Families (available in English and Spanish), where you will watch a video together and discuss a quote and three questions. Below are links to this week’s P2 for Families lessons. Click on the grade level that best meets your child’s needs.
