Dress Code Reminders

As the weather warms up, we want to remind families that students should come to school each day dressed appropriately and comfortably for learning.

Please ensure that clothing follows school expectations—bicycle shorts and other tight-fitting clothing are not permitted. All tank tops must have straps that are approximately 3 inches wide, and shirts should fully cover the stomach.

Additionally, students are not permitted to wear headphones around their necks. Headphones should only be worn when students are actively using their school-issued Chromebooks for instructional purposes.

Thank you for your continued support in helping us maintain a focused and respectful learning environment for all students!

📢 Getting Ready for End-of-Year Assessments!

Over the next 5 weeks, all of our students will be preparing for important end-of-year assessments. These assessments are vital for showing the progress your child has made on grade-level standards throughout the year.

The best way for students to continue to grow is by being present at school every day. We understand that illness can happen, but we encourage families to prioritize great attendance, especially during these final weeks of learning.

  • Lower grade students will be preparing for their final Amplify Reading assessments, iReady Diagnostics, and End-of-Year Math assessments.
  • Upper grade students will be preparing for their EOGs and iReady Diagnostics.

Think of this time as the final practice weeks before the BIG GAME—every day counts toward success!

Thank you for helping us give our students the best chance to shine. 🌟

We are especially excited that our 3rd grade students will have the opportunity to sing the National Anthem — what a special moment for our Wolves!

We hope to see lots of our Wolf Meadow families there for a night of baseball, school spirit, and community fun! 💚🐺

Positivity Project

Humor

This week, our school community will focus on the character strength of Humor. Humor means enjoying laughter and bringing smiles to others.

Humor helps us see the lighter side of things, making tough times easier and more fun. It doesn't mean you have to tell jokes, but people with humor often notice the funny moments in life and share them with others. Humor can lift people's spirits and help them through challenges. It’s important to help students understand how to use humor in a kind way, to lift others up, and never at someone else's expense.

To practice and encourage the character strength of humor at home, please visit The Positivity Project’s mobile-friendly P2 for Families (available in English and Spanish), where you will watch a video together and discuss a quote and three questions. Below are links to this week’s P2 for Families lessons. Click on the grade level that best meets your child’s needs.
