A Note About Lunch Visitors

We absolutely love welcoming families to campus for lunch! It is always special to see our students light up when they get to share part of their school day with you.

If you are joining your child for lunch, please remember to sit with them in our designated visitor section on the stage. This helps us maintain supervision and keeps our cafeteria running smoothly. Parents should not sit at the student tables with classes.

Please also keep in mind:
  • Lunch visitors are not permitted on testing days or half days.
  • As we move closer to end-of-year testing and enter full EOG preparation mode, there will be a cut-off date for lunch visitors. Stay tuned for more information about that date in the coming weeks.

Thank you for partnering with us and helping us keep lunch a safe, organized, and enjoyable time for everyone! 💚🐺

What's happening around The Meadow

3rd Quarter Benchmark Assessments (Grades 3–5)

Our students in grades 3–5 are working hard and preparing to take their 3rd Quarter Benchmark Assessments later this month! These assessments help us measure student growth and guide instruction as we head into the final stretch of the school year.
Testing Dates:
  • March 18 – Grades 3–5 ELA
  • March 24 – Grades 3–5 Math
  • March 25 – 5th Grade Science
We are incredibly proud of the tremendous growth our students demonstrated on their 2nd Quarter benchmarks and look forward to seeing even higher levels of achievement this quarter!

On testing days, we will operate on a modified schedule to ensure a focused and supportive testing environment. Please note that lunch visitors will not be permitted for any grade level on these dates.

Thank you for your continued support in helping our students get plenty of rest, eat a healthy breakfast, and arrive at school on time and ready to do their best! 💚

No lunch visitors on testing days: March 18th, March 24th, March 25th

Book-A-Palooza Volunteers Needed

The Cabarrus County Education Foundation is excited to bring Book-a-Palooza back to Wolf Meadow Elementary on April 9th! Every student will get to choose and take home two brand new books—we can't wait to add to your student's home library!

You can be part of the fun by volunteering to help prepare books (during March), set up the afternoon before (4/8), or help during the event (4/9). Let's make this day unforgettable for our students!

Cannon Ballers Family Night

Mark your calendars for April 2nd and join us for a fun-filled Wolf Meadow Family Night at the Cannon Ballers Stadium! We will have a special section reserved just for Wolf Meadow families so we can sit together, cheer together, and enjoy an exciting night at the ballpark as a school community.

We are especially excited that our 3rd grade students will have the opportunity to sing the National Anthem — what a special moment for our Wolves!

🎟 Tickets are $16.26 and can be purchased online using the link below:

We hope to see lots of our Wolf Meadow families there for a night of baseball, school spirit, and community fun! 💚🐺

Positivity Project

Love of Learning

This week, our school community will focus on the character strength of Love of Learning. Love of learning means enjoying the process of learning new things, whether in school or on your own.

People with a love of learning are motivated because they find joy in learning itself, not just for rewards like grades or prizes. They are driven by the excitement of discovering and mastering new skills.

Developing a love of learning is important for students because it helps them stay motivated and engaged. It can also improve their mental and physical well-being as they take pride in overcoming challenges and growing.

To practice and encourage the character strength of Love of Learning at home, please visit The Positivity Project’s mobile-friendly P2 for Families (available in English and Spanish), where you will watch a video together and discuss a quote and three questions. Below are links to this week’s P2 for Families lessons. Click on the grade level that best meets your child’s needs.
